Our experienced driver will pick you up from your hotel or villa in the early hours of the morning to be sure to arrive at the base camp of Mt Batur in time to begin your journey. Pick up time will depend on the locatino of the hotel or villa you are staying in.

The Mount Batur jeep adventure can be a great choice for those of you who want to see the natural beauty of a sunrise on Mount Batur without climbing. Most people do not have the skills, experience or equipment for mountain climbing especially when the Mt Batur summit is approximately 1,320 meters above sea level (approximately 4,330 feet) and can take up to 3 hours or more to climb to the summit.

This package provides the magical sunrise experience without the effort of climbing and is exciting as well because you will be going up and down the mountain in a 4 x 4 jeep with a very experienced driver. The 4 x 4 mountain jeeps are very safe and open sided and have an open top to make taking photos very easy during the drive.

When you arrive at the Jeep summit a light snack is provided including coffee or tea while you are waiting the sun to rise. When the sun rises be sure to have your camera or smartphone ready to take photos as the sunrise happens in minutes.

After the sunrise experience and some more photos, the driver will then take you over to the Mt Batur Black Lava fields for a view of the mountain from there and more photo opportunities. The jeep drivers are very experienced in assisting you with taking photos as well, after that he will take you back to the meeting point to rejoin your driver

You then have the option of visiting the hot springs where they have a diverse array of exquisitely designed hot spring pools. The water for the pools emerges from mineral-rich volcanic sources, these pools offer a wonderful experience for relaxation and rejuvenation. Aside from relaxing you will also discover vitality and rejuvenation by merging exercise in the water pools with wellness from the hot spring water.

After having a relaxing time at the hot springs you also have the option to go up the Kintamani hill to have coffee, brunch or lunch at the famous Akasa Restaurant. This multi level restaurant has amazing aerial views of Mt Batur and the Black Lava fields as well as a wonderful selection of food and beverages at very reasonable prices to enjoy before the drive back.

When you are finished there our driver will then return you back to your hotel or villa. The approximate time for the whole trip is around 10 hours.
